Lisgar Fund

History

The Lisgar Fund was set up in 1984 about the time of the 140th anniversary of the founding of the school. t provided the charitable institutional framework required by federal regulations for the issuance of tax receipts for donations that, at the time, were primarily aimed at the installation of the stained glass windows in the original window frames found during
school renovations, hidden in what had become the Lisgar office.

Since that time it has directed the expenditure of donations in accordance with the wishes / instructions of the donors and in compliance with the directions in its formation charter.

Such donations typically recognize or encourage academic, athletic or artistic achievement.
